Ohio Wesleyan University is pleased to announce its 2018 spring semester Dean's List. To qualify for OWU Dean's List recognition, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale in all applicable classes. Congratulations, Bishops, on your outstanding academic achievement!

A total of 1,621 students have been named to the Dean's List at East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania (ESU) for the Spring 2018 semester of the 2017-2018 academic year, according to Joanne Bruno, J.D., provost and vice president for academic affairs. Students eligible for the Dean's List are those who have attained a 3.50 quality point average or better and are enrolled full-time. The letter grade "B" earns 3 quality points per credit, and the grade "A" earns 4 quality points per credit.

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce the Spring 2018 Dean's List. The students represent nearly all of Rhode Island's cities and towns, all six New England states, New York and New Jersey, and many other states and countries.

Elizabethtown (Pa.) College announced the names of students whose outstanding academic performances have earned them the recognition of being included on the spring 2018 dean's list. Students on the dean's list are full-time undergraduate students who earn a semester grade point average of 3.60 or better in 14 or more credit hours, of which at least 12 credits are letter-graded course work.

The University of Scranton conferred more than 890 bachelor's and associate's degrees at its undergraduate commencement on May 27 at the Mohegan Sun Arena at Casey Plaza in Wilkes-Barre. Very Reverend Timothy P. Kesicki, S.J., president of the Jesuit Conference of Canada and the United States, read the remarks of the principal speaker Most Reverend George V. Murry, S.J., Bishop of the Diocese of Youngstown, who was unable to attend the ceremony in person because he is undergoing treatment for a form of acute leukemia. Both Father Kesicki and Bishop Murry, in absentia, received honorary degrees from the University. Honorary degrees were also presented to Sister Ann Walsh, I.H.M., former CEO and current assistant director of Friends of the Poor; William Whitaker, founding president of the Washington Jesuit Academy, Washington. D.C.; and Cecelia Lynett Haggerty, Times-Shamrock Communications and former University trustee.

Some 3,072 students were awarded degrees during the University of Vermont's 217th commencement ceremonies. Alexander Nemerov, alumnus and one of the nations' leading art historians and scholar of cultural history, delivered the address.

SUNY New Paltz acknowledges students who shared creative writing, memoir, non-fiction, poetry and/or academic writing at the College's annual Celebration of Writing Day.

Eight Elizabethtown College students received a Distinguished Student award in the spring 2018 semester. Students were nominated by faculty and staff and must be full-time and in good standing with a minimum 3.2 grade point average. The nominees must demonstrate an effective integration of the four strategic signature learning attributes of an Elizabethtown College education: relationship-centered learning, international and cross-cultural perspectives, real-world learning and purposeful life work. Evidence of the integration may include learning achieved through an advising or mentoring relationship, international study or cross-cultural service project, an internship experience, a campus or community leadership role, or a challenging research project.

Engineers-in-the-making showcase creativity at spring 2018 Senior Design EXPO

Over 1400 students were named to the Dean's List at York College of Pennsylvania. To be eligible for this honor, a student must be registered for at least 12 academic credit hours and earn a semester GPA of 3.50 or higher.

The State University of New York at Potsdam will recognize nearly 900 candidates for graduation during the College's 2018 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 19. The SUNY Potsdam Class of 2018 will be awarded baccalaureate and master's degrees at the ceremony.

CORTLAND, N.Y. -- The State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) has named three members of the Oswego State softball team to one of its two All-Conference teams. Rebecca Vilchez earned first team honors, while Angela Frampton and Madelana Wrubel earned second team honors. Additionally, Vilchez was named both the Pitcher and Player of the Year.

Approximately 1,183 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's graduation exercises, held on campus at the HTC Student Recreation Center and Convocation Center in three separate ceremonies May 4-5.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade earn the fall 2017 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.

Clarkson University awarded more than 200 bachelor's, master's and doctoral degrees to students from 34 states, 26 countries and 60 New York state counties, this fall on December 16th, 2017.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Purchase College announced that more than 1,200 students were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and taken a minimum of 12 credits.

Loyola University Maryland has announced the members of its fall 2017 Dean's List. In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.

More than 300 students met requirements for graduation from SUNY Oneonta following the Fall 2017 semester. Graduates were honored at a December recognition ceremony hosted by College President Nancy Kleniewski and held in the Dewar Arena of the Alumni Field House. They also are eligible to participate in the college's commencement on May 12.

The State University of New York at Geneseo has announced its Dean's List for the fall semester 2017. To be on the list, a student must have achieved at least a 3.5 grade point average while taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

SUNY New Paltz announces its Dean's List for the fall 2017 semester, a recognition for students who excel academically and earn at least a 3.3 grade-point average in a semester with a full-time course load.

A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.
